Apart from technical sessions, in which we were familiarized with technical details of WebSphere software, we participated with great interest in the sessions on implementation of the technology in specific companies. - It is the great influence of technology on operation of the largest businesses, or even entire economies, that shows us to what degree an enterprise's actions and efficiency relies today on application of modern IT tools supporting management – said Katarzyna Kasprzak, MIS SA Management Board Member, who took part in the Las Vegas conference. - Thanks to IT tools companies become more innovative and flexible. They can better adjust to their clients' needs as well as the changing business environment. This, on the other hand, is reflected by improvements in effectiveness and economy of doing business. – she added.
 
The session on the implementation of WebSphere at the Chinese railway company attracted many IT professionals and businesspeople attending the conference.  Representatives of the pharmaceutical line of business admired WebSphere system capabilities, thanks to which chemist's shops can freely communicate with wholesale suppliers. The WebSphere platform enables them not only to check their suppliers’ stock, but also make reservations for and "take off the shelves" the necessary products.
